  I went in for the "famous roast beef supper" $14.95....they had a seniors portion $11.95 and a smaller portion, $12.95. I chose the senior which included coffee, vegetables, potatoes, gravy, roast beef, cucumber and tomato and a condiment. I asked for tea when i sat down. The waitress didn't bring any milk. I had to ask for it. I didn't get any ice water, I had to ask for it. I got a cold roll and one pat of butter. I got my meal. Two large scoops of mashed potatoes with a small amount of gravy, which had no flavour at all, carrots that were not fresh cooked but cooked previously and warmed up. A slice of cucumber, and a quarter of a 3 inch tomato. I got a slice and a half of roast beef. The half slice was all grizzle and the full slice was 1/8 of an inch thick and about 3 x 2 inches. I sent the 1/2 slice back and the waitress brought me out another piece. It was a 2x2 piece an 1/8 of an inch thick and cold no gravy. The condiments were 3 mustard pickles. A small onion and two pickles the size of a nickel. I asked for an ice water and 10 minutes later the waitress brought it...I had to ask for more butter for the vegetables as she only brought me one for the cold roll. Then I get to the cash, she charges me for the smaller portion for $12.95 instead of the seniors for 11.95 that I had ordered. If I had of gotten the seniors would there have been any meat at all? Not very impressed with this meal. I could have made a meal for 2 for the same price and it would have tasted better. Wont recommend this meal at all.

  Martha's Restaurant in Shediac: food AND service is mediocre at best!! the windows have a sign on them saying "vinh wang"..... when i asked about them, the waitress said..... oh that's what it used to be called!! who's Martha?? apparently the owners daughter???? the name on the receipt says "restaurant vinh wang" hm....... so it's an asian restaurant....using a north american name!!! anyway, the food was really nothing to speak about at all.... just generic mashed potatoes out of the box, frozen vegetables that have been boiled to death.... the "salisbury steak" was a small hamburger pattie with a couple of onions on it. my husband asked to have poutine instead of fries....yep.....sure, an extra 2.50 charge. (no prob) i asked if the apple pie was made IN the restaurant.... Oh yes!!! hahahahaha a piece of costco lattice apple pie, COVERED nicely with a layer of ice cream - so as to disguise it i suppose ...... at least it was edible.. they don't give you the bill at the table AT ALL..... so you have to go to the till to pay, and they STILL don't give you the bill to look at....they simply ring it in.... and tell you the total to pay. well i asked to see the bill.... sure enough, the 2.50 extra charge was now 3.50 makes you wonder what else the owner charges for things, that people don't check!!! would i go there again?????? if there was no other place to go..... hm.... well......

  Good food for a reasonable price. Uses real maple syrup on their pancakes.
